For decades, the supernatural people of South City, Oregon have kept the peace among themselves. The leaders of their community decided that, to protect the secret of their existence, they needed to put aside old differences to survive in the modern world, where a careless moment could be captured on a camera phone and uploaded on the Internet for the world to see.
